We are really grateful to have such an avid blog reader :) And of course, we are very sure by now that you have the expertise to become a forensic scientst/odontologist!

EPILOGUE

Few days later at the lab...

Beads of perspiration trickled down Dr.Rudi's forehead as he squinted his eyes to look closely for new evidences in order to determine which jaws belong to Adi and Herman Hartono. He had spent the whole morning at his desk and he told himself he was not going to give up so easily. He wholeheartedly believe that the truth will prevail.

"Dr.Rudi!" shouted Detective Dr.Suria excitedly while running quickly towards Dr.Rudi who was busy examining the pieces of jaw fragments. She approached him with a stack of documents.

"Good morning, I see you're still working on the case! Anyway, I've got something you would be interested in" explained Dr.Suria as she stood beside Dr.Rudi.

"Give me a moment, Dr.Suria. I'm trying to search for more clues that I may have overlooked before," explained Dr.Rudi whose focus was still on the jaw fragments.

"No, please listen to me! I have finally found new evidences that could help us! They are Adi's dental and medical records together with his dental X-rays. Could you have a look at them?" Dr.Suria asked eagerly.

Dr.Rudi immediately stopped his work and exclaimed, "Why ! You should have given these to me earlier!" He grabbed the X-ray copies and dental records from Dr.Suria and analyzed them carefully. After that, he inspected the jaw fragments on the table intently and compared them with the X-ray copies. His eyebrows immediately raised and his eyes widened with surprise.

"Well, Dr.Rudi? It seems like you've got a match, right?" asked Dr.Suria in a sly manner. Dr.Rudi turned towards Dr.Suria with a beaming smile. "You're right! It is indeed a match! These jaw fragments belong to Adi. If that's the case, the other jaw fragments could belong to Herman," explained Dr.Rudi.

"Ohhhh ! Before I forget, here are the DNA samples you asked me to process! By the way, this is the DNA sample extracted from the jaw fragments you were working at just now," said Dr.Suria. Dr.Rudi examined the DNA samples carefully and exclaimed "Ah good job, Dr.Suria! This DNA sample  matches with Adi's DNA sample from his medical record. This is absolutely brilliant!" exclaimed Dr.Rudi who jumped out from his chair in excitement.

"Does this mean we can come to a conclusion for the identification of the victims?" asked Dr.Suria, her eyes sparkled with happiness. "Yes! Now we don't have any problems identifying the male adult jaw fragments. The jaw fragments I have on my desk which was also in the first photo I showed you last time belong to Adi. Hence, the other male jaw fragments belong to Herman. Lastly, the jaw fragments in the third photo belong to Anya which was the easiest to be identified," explained Dr.Rudi.

Dr.Suria placed her arm around Dr.Rudi's shoulder and said "Without good teamwork, we wouldn't have been able to achieve this far. However, the doors for this case are still opened. The investigators and police officers are still trying to find out who killed them since we have concluded that this is a case of murder. I think we need to dig out for more clues on how they died and for any traces of evidence that the murderer might have left behind."

Dr.Rudi patted on her back and said "Fret not! We will solve this case. Science will help us. In the end, the rule of law will dispense justice."

Dr.Suria turned to him and replied, "You're right. We shall run more tests to determine the cause of death and find out significant details that will help the police in their investigations. Let's not lose any time. We have to keep in mind that the murderer is still on the loose..."

Here comes the BONUS PART !

Finally we have come to an end of this Murder Most Brutal investigation! As concluded in our previous episodes, the jaws and skull remains of the three victims belong to two male adults, Adi Hartono and Herman Hartono, and a female child, Anya Suriati. Let’s find out what really happened in the murdering process that took their lives!

Alexander Tjugianto was a psychopath in his 30’s that lived on a remote hill in Nusantara Damai. After several slaughterous child murders, he managed to kidnap and lock Anya Suriati in a human cage. Besides depriving her of food and water, he tortured her by punching, plucking all her nails and pulling her hairs for days. He then kidnapped Adi Hartono for the same purpose. As Adi begged to be freed, Alexander made him his slave in exchange of the boy’s life. Under the bloodthirsty murderer’s duress, Adi was forced to bury Anya’s body nearby the hill after she died of severe mental and physical agony. Since Adi had gone missing for days, his father Herman Hartono extended his search to the hill in deep desperation. When Adi was halfway digging the soil, his father spotted him and they tried to escape. Alexander caught them and managed to strike them unconscious before dismembering their body parts alive. It was at the hill where he buried the different body parts at various sites. About six months later, the remote hill was developed into a park in Nusantara Damai neighbourhood where everybody lived in harmony until that Sunday morning. Whether the cold-blooded murderer is still mingling around looking for his next victim, that nobody ever knows…
